I was given a gift of a Boug... pruned as a tree about 4 foot last year , and i somewhat neglected it , to the point it lost all its leafs ect...and i thought i killed it , but it has sprouted new growth at the base of the trunk and is climing back up its self. if i prune back the top branches off the trunk will it re-grow up top where it seems to be dead ? thanks for any help Dan
