i HAVE CLEARED A SPACE FOR A PERENNIAL GARDEN USING A STRONG WEED KILLER. HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT BEFORE PLANTING.

If you used a glysophate based product like Round-up, you can plant as soon as the weeds are dead. If you used an herbicide made to kill weeds in your grass, I think you'll have a problem replanting any perennials for a long time.
