My husband and I may have made a terrible mistake with our Silver Maple. We recently had someone grind the roots down so that we could stop tripping over them. When the grinding was done and we saw the carnage, we were appalled. This happened a few days ago and now the tree's leaves are drooping and looking wilted. Have we killed our tree?
