Merrifield Garden Center Forum

I have a couple small Alberta Spruce in containers at our front door. In May and June, we noticed that one of them was turning brown needles; I don't see any bugs or fungus. The symptoms look like winter burn. About half the plant is affected. Any thoughts? Will it survive? Will spraying it for bugs and fungus hurt?
