Trees & Shrubs — Black Walnut Trees compatible with Crepe Myrtles? viewed 149 times

In lists of what TO plant and NOT TO plant under/within 50 ' of black walnut trees, I do not see Crepe Myrtles. Does anyone know if this is OK or not?
We're getting ready to put 3 Hemlocks in, and a redbud, but we want to have a few Crepe Myrtles if compatible...
I look forward to hearing from someone with the knowhow.
