I purchased a beautiful hydrangea with blue flowers. I would like to leave it in its container over the winter. What are its chances of survival?
You can keep plants in containers in winter if you have to. It would be better if you could plant it before winter though. If you can't plant it ,the next best thing would be to dig a hole and set the pot in the ground up to the rim. that will keep the roots at the right temperture. If you can't dig a hole, can you build a pile of mulch or something to put it in?
