I planted it in the ground in a very moist area. It died! What happened?
it wa the moisure that did you in. Moist SAND would be OK, but look where rosemary thrives, and you'll see it requires great drainage (like a cousin, lavender). It's not a cactus, but it never likes "wet-feet".

Paul, My rosemary is out of control. i tried to prune one into a tree shape last year but it died. have you ever seen a rosemary trimmed down to a main trunk?
