General Discussion — Garden Path viewed 289 times

I want to define the path in my garden, and I was wondering what types of rocks would be best suited for this? Or would anyone suggest something else?

Thanks a bunch for your help people.

There are a variety of different choices that are well suited for a pathway such as precast concrete, flagstone, fieldstone and gravel. All these choices will work well, so it comes down to a matter of personal preference.

Yep -- all those are good. I guess it depends on what kind of path you want. If you tend to go barefoot in the garden, you could use a different kind of grass -- one that stays short so you don't have to mow it. Gravel is good, but the downside is that it tends to wash into the flowerbeds after a while. Flagstone and fieldstone are pretty and smell nice with creeping thyme planted between the stones.
